Here are some interesting hidden facts from A.R.Rahman songs. 1. Unni Krishnan sang an aalap in the song "Mangta Hai Kya" from Rangeela in the ending portions.   2. Being a strong competitor in the same era, singer Sujatha sang as a chorus singer to the song rendered by Chitra . The song is "Kannalanae.." from Bombay. "Gumsuma Gupuchhu" is the chorus bit.     3. Hariharan sang the second interlude small bit "Sajni' in "Minsaara Poove" from Padayappa. 4. Like everyone here in India, I have known him and his music right from the time Roja was released in 1992.. thats a good 17 years. Everyone speaks of his music, and what he eats, sleeps, drinks and what he does when he is free and so on so forth. But really, there are things much beyond that that one needs to know and learn from the legend that A.R.Rahman is. Mani Ratnam-AR Rahman: 'Roja', 'Bombay', 'Iruvar' and Other Tamil Films of the Duo with Hit Songs

Legendary director Mani Ratnam and Oscar winner AR Rahman have mesmerised the audience with many classic films, which became box office hits. The duo has once again teamed up for Dulquer Salmaan-Nithya Menen starrer "O Kadhal Kanmani", which will hit the screens on 10 April, 2015. Rahman will compose the soundtrack album and film score for the Mani Ratnam directorial, which also has Prakash Raj, Leela Samson, Prabhu Lakshman and others in pivotal roles. The duo has earlier created magic in films like "Roja" (1992), "Bombay" (1995 ) and "Dil se..." (1998) and others.
